When I reserved the car for Avis last weekend, it said that you can purchase a protection for the car for an extra 18 dollars, im not sure if that's insurance or not. It said its recommended, but not required. Also, no where on the site said that you have to buy insurance for the rental car. Is there already insurance for those rental cars? i am looking to get health insurance. i was offered plan A which is $5000 deductible with 30% out of pocket or plan B $2500 deductible with 40% out of pocket. i am 20yrs old, in sacramento california. i am health don't smoke or drugs, but do ride a motorcycle. plan A payment a month is 90$ with dental and vision, and Plan B is $110 a month with vision and dental. in the past i have only been to Dr's for broken bones, but things pop up and want to be covered if something were to arise. thank you

Whys my insurance suddenly so high?

right ive just turned 17 and yes i know blah blah blah but what ive been doing is on gocompare just looking for possible cars on ebay then checking the insurance to find the cheapest ones. now iv managed to go from over three grand to cars which were about 1800 but then today every single car iv check was over 3k even cars yesterday quoted 1800 i also noticed that elephant and admiral used to be the cheapest by thousands but now they dont cover me and when i went to admiral direct they quoted 4k i havent changed any details any ideas why this is :)
